Gather – Grow – Go
We are relational beings made in the image of the Triune God who is three Persons in one Being- Father, Son and Holy Spirit. As such, relationship exists within God, known as the divine community. Therefore, we too are relational beings who have been created with an innate desire for community and connection. So, we gather together for the sake of community, communion, baptism, worship, fellowship, prayer, and much more. This is what the church does. The church gathers. The church is a gathering.
OPPORTUNITIES TO GATHER
Our service, a blend of contemporary and traditional styles, begins at 10:30 a.m. We seek to provide and create a space to meet with God and be transformed by God’s presence, power, and love. This service includes singing contemporary Christian music and well-loved hymns of the faith, reciting Church liturgy and creeds as a community, sharing joys and concerns, praying, baptizing infants and new believers, reading Scripture, and listening to the proclamation of God’s Word. Child care is provided during this service, and Communion is served on the first Sunday of every month. Every Sunday, Waldheim offers a time of fellowship following the blended service at 10:30 a.m. We provide an assorted variety of pastries and coffee to enjoy with fellow brothers and sisters in the faith.
If you have a heart for praising God through song, you’re not alone! We love to sing at Waldheim. Our music ministry is currently led by Patricia Schoen. If you are interested in joining the worship team, you’re welcome to do so. Please contact Patricia at firstname.lastname@example.org
Women of Worship (W.O.W.)
This is an opportunity for women to come together to pray, share, and lift up one another. They meet the 1st Thursday of each month from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. gathering at different homes. If you’re interested in attending a Women of Worship gathering, please contact Sheri Turnage at email@example.com
